Victor Abraham Lacô is a multifaceted queer artist architect whose research explores gender, masculinity, eroticism, romanticism and their relationship to love, spatiality, and sexuality. After five years of study at the National Architecture School of Lyon and La Cambre Horta in Brussels, they completed a master’s degree specializing in gender studies at UCL in Belgium. As artist, they use mediums of writing, sound, videos, games and performances, with a sociologic perspective.

Today, Victor divides their time between LGBTQIA+ community involvement as a trainer, facilitator, and speaker, and artistic residencies combining pornography, politics, and poetry. Their thesis about gay seduction and cruising in the saunas was awarded the François Delor LGBTQIA+ Thesis Prize in 2021.

Since then, they have consulted on gender and LGBTQIA+ issues within a Gender Mainstreaming project with Perspective Brussels, contributing to more inclusive and intersectional urban planning. They also currently work as independent speaker for ULB and the Service de l’Égalité des Chances in Brussels. In 2020, Victor founded Lacôtepétrie, self-managed micro-publishing platform dedicated to board games and queer tools. They edited Culedo, a multimedia project combining roleplay, board games, and performance addressing sexual health.

In Belgium, Victor has collaborated with The Green Corridor, Halles Saint-Géry, Recyclart, and festivals such as Pink Screen and Homografia. They also works in France, the Netherlands and Switzerland, and currently collaborate with Barcelona-based artists Lizette Nin and Mónica La Metro.

Victor started curation for some festivals in Brussels, and co create in 2024 the “Queer Zine Fest Brussels”.
