Matías Mendez

Matías Mendez was born in Floresta, Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1997. He is a poet and translator. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Arts from the National University of the Arts. He published La lucidez (2021) with Hexágono Editoras. He is an editor at Como un lugar and is part of the film production company Proyecto Excursus. He is currently working on his second poetry book, En la casa de la coincidencia, and his first novel.

Matías will be in residence at Can Serrat in May 2025.
