Vera (also known as Vera Buendía) is a writer and cultural producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has published poetry books in independent publishing houses (Sálvese quien pueda by Elemento Disruptivo Editora in 2015, Loop & desborde by El rucu editor in 2017, Ay chicos by Rama dorada casa editora in 2018 and La fe furiosa by Eloísa Cartonera in 2023) and has been invited to international festivals in Ecuador (Kaníbal Urbano, 2018), Rosario (FIPR, 2016) and her home city (APOA, 2014). She has written several interviews and reviews in Indie Hoy, among other media. From 2023 she hosts the literary event Inmensas Camelias with the poet Cecilia Perna at the vibrant bookstore La Libre. Currently, Buendía works at the National Secretary of Culture and has joined the Master in Sociology of Culture and Cultural Analysis at Universidad Nacional de San Martín.
