Lee Bullit

Lee Bullitt (b. 1989) is an African-American, queer interdisciplinary artist, writer, and video editor from Harlem, NY. Best known for their intimate poetry and photography, which concern lethargy, love, sexuality and anxiety and the effects nature and environment can have on each. The style of which may leave those who see or read it with the feeling of being dropped into an intimate scene at once feverish, dreamlike and, often, uncomfortable. Lee has exhibited her photography at Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, Queens Museum, and Woman Made Gallery, amongst others, and has been featured on Afropunk, Dazed Digital, After Ellen, GO Magazine, etc.

Lee will be in residence at Can Serrat during the month of June 2022.
