CRUCERO offers solutions, guidance, and critical perspectives to address the lack of feedback that creative individuals may experience along their journey.

 

 

CRUCERO is a remote residency program created in 2020 between the art and literature residencies Can Serrat (Catalonia) and guion_bajo (Colombia).

The project was born from the simple observation that emerging (but not only emerging) artists and writers in residence often lack information and support to navigate the cultural world.

 

 

Don’t know how to write an artist statement? Overwhelmed by the number of open calls? Still haven’t found a way to share your work on social media? Want someone to give a critical reading of your manuscript? Does the art world give you impostor syndrome?

Crucero approaches the artist’s practice in an integral way and offers practical tutoring to improve specific skills such as fundraising, writing statements and applications, as well as coaching to help artists articulate their ideas and provide emotional support, among other forms of assistance.

 

Crucero offers 4 lines of consultancy services:

  • FEEDBACK (1h) – €60
  • CO-PILOT (1h) – First session €80 (1h30) – then €60
  • CRITICAL READING – €350 (up to 100 pages)
  • VIDRIERA (1h) – €60
