Dilruba Tayfun

Dilruba Tayfun (b. 1995, Antalya, Turkey) is a Dutch artist based in Amsterdam. She utilises objects from the natural environment as the basis for her painting practice, forming an expansive and collaborative language that moves between tactile and digital realms. Her work weaves meaning into image-making, bridging fiction and non-fiction, science and spirit, east and west, the embodied and the imagined. From this all-encompassing and durational practice emerges a distinct lexicon spanning painting, drawing, and digital design.

Tayfun has exhibited her work in Bodrum, Turkey; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and London, the United Kingdom. Her project Togather was the 2021 winner of Trojan Horse Was a Unicorn’s Sony Talent League. She has created work for The Independent, the Institute of Race Relations, Mutoid Waste Co., and Electric Light Studios & TomTom. She is a graduate of Central Saint Martins, London.

Dilruba Tayfun is in residence at Can Serrat in January 2026.
