Celina Raquel Abud

Celina Abud (Buenos Aires, 1978) is a writer, journalist, and singer. She published the short story collection Alguien con quien hablar (Editorial Crackup, 2017) and the poetry book La ruta del adiós (Dragones de Papel, 2023), and wrote an unpublished novel in 2024. Her short stories have also appeared online in IntraMed, Ámbito Financiero, Op.Cit. magazine, and Vayaina Mag.

She has specialized as a Science and Health journalist while also writing about Art and Culture. Currently, she works for IntraMed. Previously, she spent eleven years at Ámbito Financiero and collaborated with Télam news agency and Caras y Caretas magazine, among other media outlets. As a member of the Argentine Network of Science Journalism (RAdPC), she co-authored, alongside Valeria Román, the Guide for Journalists on Adolescent Suicide Coverage for UNICEF Argentina.

As a singer, she has performed as a soloist and participated in the band Rosal and the Gospel in The Street cycle.

At Can Serrat, she will work on a novel about Aurora, a ghost writer, and Chloe, a former model seeking to return to the public eye through her memoirs. The Montserrat landscape will serve as inspiration for Chloe’s journeys and her connection with nature.

Celina Abud will be in residence at Can Serrat in October 2025.
