Mar was born in Mendoza, Argentina, on May 17, 1991, in a city where the oasis meets the edge of the desert. They studied theater at UNCuyo. They direct and perform. They believe in the stage as a space to inhabit crossings: between languages, between genres, between what no longer exists/what exists/what has yet to be imagined. They write theater, poetry, letters, the desert they live in, and the sea they wish to live in. They write against time. They always carry a notebook. They become small within words. They chase the most elusive thing that exists: language. They never quite catch it.
They participate in slams, performances, and poetry gatherings, self-publish fanzines, and share some of their texts on their blog and Instagram. They work as a lighting designer, a crossroads between technical craft and creation. They pursue light as a way of writing time into space. They design lighting to leap into the mystery of what exists beyond words.
Mar will be in residence at Can Serrat from May to August 2025.
