Teodora Nikolova

Teodora Nikolova is a graduate of Lancaster University, where she studied English language and Creative Writing. She is an author of poetry in both English and Bulgarian and has performed her work at many events in Lancaster. She is the recipient of the 2015 Arts Against Narcotics poetry award. In 2017, she was awarded at the Boya Undergraduate Forum in Beijing for her work with poetry translation. Her creative and academic has appeared in Cake Literary Journal, NoiseMedium, and Lux Journal. During her time at Lancaster, she was also executive editor of Flash Literary Journal and a frequent contributor to the student news publication SCAN. At present, Teodora is working on a poetry collection about the complicated inter-generational relationships between mothers and daughters, and hoping to continue her education at postgraduate level.
