Marco stopped writing “just for friends” over a decade ago. Thanks to writing workshops with Gabriela Wiener, Diego Trelles Paz, and Edgardo Scott (a workshop he has continued since 2019), he has affirmed his interest in Hispanic literature and aspires to one day be called a “writer.”
Thanks to various literary encounters, Marco has had the pleasure of participating in several literary magazines in Paris and is currently collaborating on a project called Pasajes, alongside other writer friends: https://revista-pasajes.com/2024/04/29/xavier/
With the support of La Cité Universitaire de Paris, his short story Vuelta en U was included in the anthology Dans les mur…mur(e)s de la Cité U in 2017. The following year, the Modern Love column of The New York Times published his short piece No more secrets, which was also included in the book Tiny Love Stories: True Tales of Love in 100 Words Or Less, published in 2020.
Marco will be in residence during the month of August 2025.
