From December 14, 2026 to January 4, 2027, Can Serrat pauses its regular residency programme and opens its doors to a self-managed winter community.
During these three weeks, the house functions as a shared space for co-living, rest and independent work. We invite artists, writers, researchers, remote workers, nature lovers and people from all professional backgrounds to spend time at the house, whether to focus on a project, read, write, walk in the mountains, disconnect from daily routines or simply enjoy living alongside others in a peaceful environment.
This opportunity is intended for independent individuals who are comfortable managing their day-to-day life without the support structure of a residency programme.
In addition to offering time for rest or concentration, this stay is an opportunity to experience life at Can Serrat during the winter, explore the natural surroundings of Montserrat, and live alongside people from different countries, disciplines and backgrounds. Without a predefined programme, encounters, conversations and potential collaborations emerge organically through everyday life in the house.
