Aldo Urbano

I graduated from the University of Barcelona in Fine Arts and the Willem de Kooning Academy (The Netherlands).  I have shown my work individually in El Passadís (Great Spiral, Barcelona 2015), La Puntual (Are Those Ice Crems or Mountains, Sant Cugat 2015) and recently at Galeria Balaguer (To imitate the movement of a mirage, Barcelona 2016).

I have participated in collective shows such as The Visit (WdKA, The Netherlands) or self-sustained projects as Plaga (Barcelona, 2014). I’ve been in several artistic residencies as Sandarbh Artist Residency (India, 2014), which culminated in the publication “A Planet Bathed by the Sun in Constant Erosion, though its Posture Reminds to a Challenge”.  I received the Guasch Coranty Grant for Artistic Research 2014. At this moment I am working in an edition project along with Sala d’Art Jove, a graphic novel that will be published in October.
