ZZ Krebs is a light, sound, and installation artist working predominately with issues relating to natural phenomenon. With references to science and technology, her work allows the viewer to question the spaces we inhabit as humans, both natural and unnatural. Time is a recurring motif throughout her work as she explores and questions the space between what is ephemeral and what is permanent in an effort to reach a deeper understanding of our place within the world. Krebs is currently a MFA candidate in Art at the California Institute of the Arts. She received her BFA in Visual Art from the University of San Diego in 2015.
