Sophie Auger (Quebec, Canada, 1994) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice highlights the relationship between artists and the notion of superstition. She holds a bachelor of Studio Arts and Print Media from Concordia University in Montreal (2016). Through photography, drawing and performance, she manipulates social statistics, logarithmic formulas or reproductions of Art History canons. During her time at Can Serrat, she will be working in printmaking to explore the process of making two images from one gesture.
