Rosemary Hall

Rosemary Hall is a visual artist from California, working in printmaking, painting, and installation. She received her BFA from the University of California, Davis. Hall spent the last year in residencies across Europe: Jan and Maria Manetti Shrem Foundation award and residency at the Royal Drawing School in London, Dumfries House Residency in Scotland, and Can Serrat Residency in Spain. Currently, she is the artist in resident coordinator at Can Serrat. Her work is rooted in an exploration of the biological phenomenon, natural sciences, and the interplay between humanity and the environment. She often incorporates found material such as rocks, shells, flowers, leaves, recycled material, and lichen to explore our connection to the environment and investigate her surroundings and self.
