Her artistic practice lies at the intersection of art, matter, and memory. Through painting, ceramics, and assemblage, she constructs objects and scenes that function as symbolic vestiges, exploring the capacity of materials to hold emotions, beliefs, and traces of the invisible.

Her work investigates the tension between the sacred and the everyday through elements linked to ritual—containers, hybrid bodies, amulets, and display cases—understood as devices of meaning. Each piece arises from the need to embody inner experience: that which has been lost, that which persists, and that which is transformed. From this perspective, she questions the notion of belonging and proposes an expanded reading of lineage, spirituality, and the body as territories of symbolic negotiation. Her visual language engages with history and, at the same time, affirms the possibility of rewriting it.

She holds a degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in Fire Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA). Her training includes studies in theater, cinematographic photography, ceramics, glass fusing, sculpture, and textile design, as well as workshops and labs focused on contemporary and sustainable processes.

She has participated in group exhibitions such as *El lugar que ocupa las cosas* (Centro Cultural Impar, 2024), *Artista por Artista* (Leonardo Collective, Casa Chaca, 2025), and *Azul Místico* (Mada Galería, 2025).

Since 2020, she has founded and coordinated The Art Factory, a ceramics workshop where she works as a teacher and cultural manager. In 2024, she created The Art Factory Studio, a space for research and advanced training. In 2025, she founded Satja, a transdisciplinary artists’ collective.

Nelly will be in residence in May 2026.
