Luciana Olmedo Wehitt

She holds a degree in International Relations (Universidad de San Andrés), a diploma in Creative Writing (UNTREF), and a Master’s degree in Latin American Literary Studies (UNTREF). She has completed training courses in Political Philosophy (Sciences Po) and Art History (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti).

 

She has worked in film and television production; communications for the first Master’s Program in Creative Writing (UNTREF); and, from 2016 to 2024, she was a Communications and Planning Advisor at the National Arts Fund. In 2018, she designed and produced the Expanded Literature Series at Casa Victoria Ocampo. She co-wrote and co-directed the play *El Árbol* (The Tree), based on *El árbol de Saussure: una utopía* (The Tree of Saussure: A Utopia) by Héctor Libertella (winner of the “Teatro Nacional Cervantes Produce en el País” award, 2019). In 2024, she published the essay “Between Fabrics: Literature and Metamorphosis in the Short Stories of Silvina Ocampo” (Gata Flora Editorial). She currently writes for various media outlets and is pursuing a PhD in Comparative Arts Theory (UNTREF).
