Lena Phalén

Lena is a sculptor and painter with an intuitive and tactile approach to her work. She often uses mixed media and combines found materials such as wood, cardboard, and metal with traditional artist materials such as oil and acrylic paints and plaster. She is originally from Sweden and has lived in Scotland for the past ten years. She did a Foundation year at Leith School of Art in Edinburgh before completing a degree in Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee and graduated in 2016. She is currently creating work from her studio in Edinburgh.
