A journalist focused on narrative journalism, with an emphasis on social issues, gender, and human rights. She has contributed her work to various national and international media outlets. She holds a Master’s degree in Digital Journalism from Casa Grande University in Guayaquil and completed a specialization course in investigative journalism at Columbia University in New York. A former Gabo Foundation fellow, Dart Center Fellow in 2022 and 2024, Pulitzer Center grantee, and winner of the Eugenio Espejo Journalism Prize in 2022 and 2023 for best digital report. She is a member of the Journalists Without Chains Foundation in Ecuador. She is currently working on her first autofiction novel.
