Benni Ciappini (1999) is a visual researcher and word chewer from Italy. Her latest works revolve around the connection between words, language and the physical world, wondering how words can be activators of encounter and communi(ty)cation. Her interest resides in collaborative and dialogical approaches. Benni’s research leads to texts, collaborative activities, photographs, publications and installations. Some of her work has been shown at Zoetrope (Athens, GR), where she curated a photobook exhibition, and at the boox.space (Haarlem, NL). She has been part of the editorial-curatorial team of MEGASTUDIO residency at Habitat (Ca’ de Monti, IT). Benni is currntly based between Italy and The Netherlands.
