Ana Maria Micu (b. 1979) is a Romanian visual artist from Botoșani. She works primarily with painting, connecting two or more images by referencing them to personal experiences and her close environment.
She was repeatedly exhibited, in solo and group shows, by Mind Set Art Center in Taipei, and C-Space in Beijing, but she also has participated in other projects, at a steady pace since her graduation in 2004 from the MFA of the University of Art and Design of Cluj-Napoca.
The central part of her project during the residency at Can Serrat is to develop a large-scale wall drawing out of grey self-adhesive vinyl cuttings as a temporary visual context around a work-in-progress that she began in her studio.
