Agustín Darío Poncio (Daría Poncio)

Daría Poncio (b. 1998; Río Cuarto, Argentina), stage name of Agustín Darío Poncio, is an Argentine poet, communicator, and audiovisual producer currently based in Córdoba. His work focuses on the intersection of artistic creation, strategic communication, and queer activism.

As a writer and poet, Daría runs the independent publishing house Mil Veces, through which he has self-published a vast body of work that includes five poetry collections since 2019, with titles such as Mi cuerpo es un museo de lo irreversible (My Body Is a Museum of the Irreversible, 2023) standing out. He has also shared his expertise by teaching the poetry workshops “Espías Sentimentales” (Sentimental Spies) and “Máquina de Asombro” (Machine of Wonder) (2024) and participating as Poet-in-Residence at the Rosario International Poetry Festival (2020).

In the field of audiovisual and communication, he is completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Audiovisual Arts (UNC). He currently works as a communications coordinator for social organizations. His work as a screenwriter includes co-writing the screenplay of “Trópico Encendido” (Tropical Heat), winner of the INCAA Raymundo Gleyzer Competition (2025), and developing the short film projects “Contra el Fin del Mundo” (Against the End of the World) and “Playa, Más Cerca del Sol” (Park, Closer to the Sun), where he is the director and screenwriter. In addition, he maintains his commitment to activism through a radio column on LGBTIQ+ documentary archives.
