Emilia Pérez is a Spanish translator, poet, and editor.
She’s taken creative writing workshops since 2014, and it has led her to be one of the ten co-founding members of Perfeito Ediciones, a collective poetry-publishing house from Rosario, Argentina. It was thanks to Perfeito that she published her first poetry book, Vainilla y coco, in 2021.
She has participated in two international residencies: one for poetry (during the 26th Rosario International Poetry Festival) and one for literary translation (in Autumn School of Literary Translation in Buenos Aires).
Working as a linguist (translating, editing, proofreading, hosting writing workshops), and participating in cultural literary and musical events (both helping organizing them and starring in them), she considers herself an advocate of the words.
She enjoys nature, food, music, and heart-to-heart conversations.
