Daniela Bojórquez Vértiz presented her first solo exhibition “Daniela VS la Realidad“ in 2002 in Mexico. Daniela Bojórquez Vértiz is interested in how photographs can be related to texts and in Photography as a medium. Bojórquez works with photographs, text, books, video and other media. She studied at SOMA Mexico Academic Program from 2014 to 2016 (MFA), the Photography program at Escuela Activa de Fotografía in Mexico City, and she holds a Creative Writing diploma from Sociedad General de Escritores de México SOGEM.
Bojórquez Vértiz received the First Prize at 8th Visual Arts Biennial in Puebla, Mexico in 2011and the Young Creators Grant (FONCA) in 2005 and 2012. Her work has been exhibited in Mexico, Italy, Ecuador and Germany.
