Natalia Romero was born in Bahía Blanca (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in February 1985. She holds a degree in Communication (UBA) and a Master’s in Creative Writing (UNTREF). She published I Was Born in Summer (2014, El ojo del mármol), The Other Side of Things, Poetry as the Restoration of a Voice in the Work of Diana Bellessi (2017, Blatt&Ríos), Perhaps Death Lies (2018, Alción), ABC, My First Kitchen (2018, Periplo), The Luminous Principle (2019, Caleta Olivia), Perhaps Death Lies + The Light Still, new edition (2022, Pánico el pánico). In 2021, she received the Creation Grant, and in 2022, the Project Completion Grant from FNA, to work on her first novel, The Precious Noise of a Heart.
She has been coordinating writing workshops since 2015. She directs Las celebraciones, a school of arts and writing.
Natalia is doing her residency at Can Serrat between August and October 2024.
