Ye Mimi

Ye Mimi is a Taiwanese poet, filmmaker, photographer and “Poetry Tarot” spiritual counselor. A graduate of the Chicago Art Institute’s MFA Program in Film, Video and New Media, she has garnered numerous awards for her poetry films and poetry collections, the most recent of which is wuwuwu 《巫巫巫》, a two-volume box set, forthcoming fall 2023, containing her new poems and essays she has written on
shamanic rituals and funerals she witnessed and filmed in China and Indonesia.

Ye Mimi is in residence at Can Serrat in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Taipei during the months of September – October 2023.
