Tessa Liebman

Tessa Liebman has been cooking for over 15 years in her hometown of New York City. She is currently a caterer, private chef and event producer specializing in conceptual, immersive dining experiences built around the human senses. Her work with perfumers and scent has inspired her to create the series Scents of Plates where she translates the work of perfumers into food experiences and explores the history and art of perfumery. She has done pop-up dinners in New York, Detroit, London and Mexico City and has worked with artists to add sensory elements to their works. She presented the Scents of Plates project at the Experimental Scent Summit produced by the Institute for Art and Olfaction in 2019 and at the Digital Scent Festival in 2020 and was an artist-in-residence at Shell House Arts and The Marble House Project in 2019.

Tessa Liebman will be in residence at Can Serrat during the months of March-April 2022.
