
Morena Díaz Ringlestein was born in 1989 in Buenos Aires. She spent her childhood and adolescence in the Alto Valle of Río Negro (Argentine Patagonia). She holds a degree in Anthropology (UBA) and is a master’s candidate in Public Health at the National University of Rosario, with her master’s thesis in progress. She currently works in training and capacity-building in the field of epidemiology.
She has contributed to various publications in conferences, symposiums, and scientific journals as a member of health research teams. She has also explored the relationship between bodies, spaces, images, and anthropology in academic publications.
She is a member of the Colectivo Antroposex, with which she has taught seminars on anthropology and sexualities and published in books and media. Together with the collective she organizes PerraFest, a techno-dissident party in the City of Buenos Aires.
For more than 20 years she has studied and experimented with the languages of dance, physical theatre, and expression independently. She has participated in various theatre, dance, and performance works. Her encounter with creative writing emerged in theatre classes, experimenting with texts for the stage. Since 2022 she has taken reading and writing workshops and is working on a short story book project.
