Marina Mejia

Marina was a violinist and studied philosophy. While she was ill she only read poetry. She is interested in the ambiguous, forms of open and undefined meaning, fictional spaces, the queer.
She made the performance “Orange is the colour of my solitude”, as part of ‘La juan gallery xm2’ at the Territori Art Festival. She has participated in “Anhelo de ser salvajes”, organised by Una fiesta salvaje, within the framework of artistic residencies at Matadero Madrid. She did a writing residency at the III Festival Bajo Teja.

Marina makes her residence at Can Serrat in August 2023.
