
María Paula Vettorazzi (1988) was born in Sampacho, Córdoba, Argentina. She holds a law degree from the National University of Río Cuarto (UNRC) and a diploma in Creative Writing from the National University of Tres de Febrero (UNTREF). She currently resides in Río Cuarto, where she works as a court employee. Her work was included in the short story anthology *Los veinte* (SADE Río Cuarto, 2018). She has published the short story collection *Algo que vuele* (Cartografías, 2019) and the novel *Moscas brillantes del aire* (UniRío, 2023). She wrote the chapbook of poems *El sol del futuro*, partially published by the online publication Hurlingham Post (2024). She has led reading and writing workshops and collaborated on various cultural activities in her hometown and city. She is currently writing her first screenplay and her second novel, *Los ritos exteriores*.
