Colombian writer and journalist. His latest book “El encanto podrido de Bogotá” won the National Short Story Book Award of the UIS. He also won the National Short Story Prize RCN-MEN, the National Short Story Prize of the Government of Cundinamarca, and the Novel Prize of the Government of Santander. He has been a finalist in several short story and chronicle contests. His journalistic works (chronicles and reports) have been published in different Colombian and Latin American media. In 2017 he was selected by the Gabo Foundation as one of the winners of the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Journalism Scholarship.
Fabián will take up residence at Can Serrat during the month of May 2023.
