Whether through film, music, dance or whatever medium may be readily available to her,  Elana strives to find beauty from the moments otherwise known as “in-between”.  She revels in the details of the human condition and will do anything to highlight them. Elana is the Co-founder/Artistic Director of the performance company, CabinFever. CabinFever performs original music + dance in homes inspired by families, architecture, and the triumphant stories that unfold when we live in a home over time. Now based in Chicago, Elana has had the privilege to create works in architectural gems including a Bertrand Goldberg designed House, The Soho House Chicago, Theaster Gates’ Stony Island Arts Bank, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.

During her stay at Can Serrat residency, Elana plans on exploring the concept of routine and ritual through movement and film.
