Elisabeth Denis

As an artist my tools to tell stories bifurcate towards filmmaking and literature.
I’m interested in relational aesthetics, confessional writings, interactive installations, community orientated projects, political and social art. My method of work often starts with a seed that is present and found in my life, a concern, or social questions. I often interrogate people to integrate their story or their thoughts to my work. The public always act as a reflection for my own concerns. I always mount a proposal supported by visuals to show the public for them to have a better understanding of a project and the possible outcome after the exploration.

Elisabeth did her residency at Can Serrat in November 2023.
