Camila Vazquez

 

(Rosario, 1994). She grew up in Merlo, San Luis. She resides in Río Cuarto, Córdoba. She is a Professor and holds a degree in Language and Literature from UNRC and a Diploma in Creative Writing from UNTREF. She works as a teacher in secondary schools and literary workshops. She coordinates the Casa de Poesía space. She published the poetry collections Yeguariza (Kintsugi, 2020) and Tautea (Agua Viva, 2022). She is included in the anthologies Flotar y Campo (Camalote, 2020-2022) and Amenaza y maravilla (Gog y Magog, 2022) and Poetas argentinas: 1981-2000 (Del Dock, 2023). She received the awards La Bienal de Arte Joven de Buenos Aires in the poetry category (2021) and Nosotras movemos el mundo organized by CCK in the Manifesto category (2022). In 2022, she won the Incentive for Writing award in the Short Narrative category for her ongoing project Cruza. In 2023, she was selected for the Bahía Blanca Poetry Residency and received the Creation grant from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes for Cruza.
She writes for the media outlet La Marea. She is active in the Glauce Baldovin Collective.
