I Ramsha Rubbani, a visual artist and educator from Lahore, Pakistan describe Abid Aslam as an exceptional contemporary artist not only in terms of medium but with technique as well. Aslam’s art practice always carries a significant element of drive through his personal experiences and surroundings which leads viewers to think about the possibilities of seeing more than a visual it self. He believes his residency program in Can Serrat will result in something new as Aslam’s surrounding and environment and subject will be totally different this time and challenging for him also.
