Abhijit Kumar Pathak is a visual artist, trained from Banaras Hindu University,Varanasi & Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi, India 2010. His evocative visual language as an abstract painter is recognized by measure art organizations, art critic and galleries. Pathak is an abstractionist with passion and deep conviction. His works are color fields of infinitude in which we do not see a definite sense of process. But there is a deep understanding of the mystic rules of the beginning, the middle and end, there are deeper truths of the variation of the principle of fragmentation and fragility in a world which begins with the gravity of the earth.

Abhijit has participated in numerous group shows and solo shows in India and abroad.

Presently he is residing and working in New Delhi.

At can serrat residency programme  I would like to focus on developing a series of participatory interactive drawings and paintings that integrate vision and touch, and explore connections between the material practice of drawing and the local ecological systems.
