Yaiza Hernández Escobar, artistic name Sally Hernández, is a young Curator- artist based in London from Madrid. Recently graduated from Goldsmiths with a British Council and La Caixa Foundation scholarship. She is the founder of Ethereal Maison, an interdisciplinary project which was a gallery for almost a year in 62 Roman road Bethnal Green, London. She is the Lead curator of experiential art for Cramer st Gallery and has worked for several other London galleries, CooC, The Mandrake all members Club, Swab art fair and the Mosaic Rooms.

She investigates the trans-materialities of safe spaces and third spaces within and outside of ourselves and how networks of care can be created, cared for and long lasting. Through her expression with diverse mediums and forms of art (visual, audiovisual,performative), she pretends to raise awareness concerning psychological abuse and its consequences for which she was invited to give a talk at the South London Gallery.

________Madame Lalá is a multidisciplinary artist based in Madrid and London. With Cuban roots, she explores the ways in which the young Latin American diaspora continues to produce and reinvent itself in the Global North. In her practice she frequently uses resources from Santeria and magic to deconstruct and analyse concepts such as identity, love and soft power.

Having performed at the Thyssen Bornemisza museum, Hybrid Art fair, Madrid and being represented by la Juan gallery, Madame Lalá’s practisce also focuses on the collaborations between historical institutions and their intake regarding performance art, bringing historical works alive.
