Talia Yael Rodriguez

Talia Yael, Mexico City, 1989. Playwright, actress, and psychologist. Winner of the National Young Playwriting Award, Gerardo Mancebo del Castillo Trejo, in 2019 with the play Pollito, directed by Micaela Gramajo and performed by the National Theatre Company in Mexico. Resident of the Royal Court Theatre and Bergman Cathedral (UNAM) program from 2021 to 2023. Recipient of the Young Creators program grant in the playwriting category (2019–2020). Fellow of the Foundation for Mexican Letters (2017–2019) in the area of playwriting. She has written seven plays, all of which have been performed in various venues in Mexico City.

Talia will undertake her residency at Can Serrat in November 2024.
