CataláDuring the last week of November, Can Serrat will present a selection of projects that residents worked on and developed throughout the year.
The selection process and organized event will be a collaborative effort between the Director of the residency and an invited curator. This event is open to the public and both selected artists as well as members that have served on the jury for the open calls throughout the year are invited to stay for free for the weekend at Can Serrat to enjoy the opening celebrations together. The programmed events will include an exhibition of the selected visual works, concerts and performances, and special tapas will be catered by the local creative cuisine of LA PORCA.
This event will be a wonderful opportunity for the public to discover and enjoy the works of emerging national and international artists. Likewise, residents will be able to reconnect or meet each other for the first time and learn more about residency projects from the past year.
We would like to close our doors each year before the holidays in celebration of the many accumulated layers and ideas realized within the studios at Can Serrat.
