Petra Hudcova was born in Prague. She studied her BA in Fine Art at Leeds Metropolitan University, UK and MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art in London. She has worked and exhibited internationally.
My recent practice consists of making a series of objects that I call a three-dimensional collage. These objects strive to be a reflection of my perception and experiencing; they consist of photographs, stills, drawings, and light. I experiment and rearrange the elements according to the possibilities of recalling in a given moment as well as considering the environment. In Can Serrat, my focus is on the questioning of the use of a form in juxtaposition with the awe-inspiring place.
