Noa Mendoza

 

Noa was born in San Francisco, California, in the year 1998. She’s a graduate from Ruth Asawa School of the Arts Creative Writing Department and from Vassar College in New York, Media Studies department. From 2016 to 2018 she hosted a queer feminist radio show on WVKR 91.3. Last 3 years she’d been also producing and participating in Audio Picnic, a sound storytelling collective. She was also an editor of Umlaut literary journal and Boilerplate Magazine. She worked with Counterpoint press as an Editorial intern in 2017 and Penguin Random House Audio Editorial Department in 2018, and as the production assistant for Slate’s philosophy podcast Hi Phi Nation. She is interested in creative collective storytelling, and the intersection between audio and poetry. Her work has been published in the Vassar Review, Synchronized Chaos Magazine, and Fecund Magazine.
