CataláPamela Pirovic (born. Sydney 1994) completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts with First Class Honours at Sydney College of the Arts, Australia in 2016. She is a photomedia, video and performance artist who’s practice is informed by the social and political constructs of ‘the everyday’ within Contemporary Australian society. Through performance, photography and film she produces works with these ‘everyday’ or banal characteristics in mind. In her works she has a propensity to reject what she has been told is socially acceptable. Pirovic’s practice encourages challenging ideas of what is socially acceptable and attempts to present these issues through satire or humour.
