Recombinant by Ching-in Chen

At the beginning of July our full granted former resident Ching-in, has spent a few days in Can Serrat, exactly 2 years after her residency. She also gave us the book she has been working on during her residency. Thank you for this present and the beautiful dedication lines as well.

It is always a great pleasure to have former residents back, but especially to see their work published that required so much dedication…

Below you can find a poem from her book Recombinant.

island where these things (if this beginning)

Forget when aliened from this house.

Teeth and heart plant origin story too.

New metal millennium woman, ferrets bucket

by bucket to certified shore.

Everyone need proper. Withness hands journey into midnight.

Learn gravity, watch how she collect

ears, starting with your own.
