Frida María Reyes Sánchez / FridAmaría was born in 1993 in México City. Graduated from UABC; (Autonomous University of Baja California). Currently living in Tijuana B.C Fridas work analyzes social communities throught allegories narrated by microbiological communities called Sogieds. Reyes has also done studies in UCLM ( Castilla La Mancha University) Cuenca, Spain (2015-2). Participated in “Sutiles Decisiones” workshop at Relaciones Inesperadas (2017). Sogied part.I “ESIS”, March 8 at CEART, (State Center of Arts Tijuana), “Los Sogied” August 24 at CETYS University ( Techinque Superior Teaching Center),“Blue_IN” Exhibition, interactive exposition, January 2016, Blue House of Cuenca, Spain and “México Transgeneracional” November 23, 2015, Castilla la Mancha University, Cuenca, Spain are some of her last presentations. Selected for the “Biennial of the Northwest” in Baja California México. Artist in residence for the“ THE REAL FAKE” , Art and Community project coordinated by Curatoría Forense and UBERBAU_HOUSE, Sao Paulo, Brasil where she presented “ Republic for the Republic” at the National Encaunter of Art and Community “DE USO COMUN” 17 and 18 June 2017.
