Berfin is a filmmaker and writer based in Istanbul, holding an MA in Cinema and Media. Her practice moves between video essays, experimental visual storytelling, and collaborative projects that draw on cultural heritage, oral traditions, music, and dance. She is particularly interested in how fragments of memory, myth, and rural life reappear in the present and how these moments can reveal deeper tensions between people, class, place, and perception.
