Deborah Douglas Wilbrink is a senior from the southern USA who lives in Spain. She has been a teacher, Senate aide, cemetery sexton, waitress, copywriter, tv news editor and commercial producer. More recently, Deborah ghostwrote over 50 memoirs and authored the Unitarian Universalist history ‘Fire of Commitment’ and ‘Time to Tell Your Personal & Family History’ self-published books—before retirement induced her to write fiction. She has published in Etched Onyx, the New York Times Metropolitan Diaries, Bluegrass Unlimited, Big City Blues, and more. Deborah’s writing won the Columbus State University Berkley-Oxford Summer Scholarship and a cruise from The International Bluegrass Foundation. She enjoys singer-songwriting and participating in the vibrant life and festivals of her Spanish community. She likes gardening, but for now, it’s house plants.
