My artwork explores themes of alchemy, spirituality and intimacy in the context of mythology and archetypes. Human, supernatural, and hybrid creatures carry out narratives of risk, trust, power and sacrifice in drawing, ink paintings, and block prints.

I have exhibited nationally and internationally, more recently developing bodies of work in residencies in Spain, Switzerland and retreats in Morocco, Ireland and NYC. I have been making art since I was very small. As a teenager I was accepted into NYC’s Laguardia HS of Music and Art and was invited to audit painting classes at the NYC college School of Visual Arts. I received a BA in Art and Anthropology from Oberlin College and Masters in Creative Arts from SF State, while curating over 45 exhibitions in the college’s multiple gallery spaces. I have worked as a professional artist, illustrator, curator, museum educator and art teacher, and currently teach art and animation to high school students.
