Genevieve es va graduar amb dos graus en angl\u00e8s i economia de la Universitat de Columbia, i est\u00e0 cont\u00ednuament aprenent l&#8217;ofici amb cursos en el Programa d&#8217;Escriptura Internacional de la Universitat d&#8217;Iowa. Ha rebut subvencions de la Fundaci\u00f3 de T\u00f2quio i l&#8217;Institut de Recerca J . Paul Getty.
