SUMMARY:Public Reading by Residents of Can Serrat
DESCRIPTION:Can Serrat\, with the intention of connecting with it’s closest environment\, collaborates regularly with the Library of Bruc. It is proposed that the people from the town come to know\, listen and debate during an open dialogue between foreign literature and Catalan literature. It is organized in the public space of the library\, a day in which guest writers in residence present their recent or ongoing work in the form of conversation thanks to three local collaborators and great lovers of Catalan literature: Carla Jorba\, Carles Estrada and Ramon Jorba. \nA first meeting\, prior to the public presentation\, takes place in Can Serrat between collaborators and invited writers. This moment generates a first exchange from which Carla\, Carles and Ramon look for links between the projects of resident writers and referents of Catalan literature. \nThe authors who will read their work are; \nBarbara Victoria Niveyro \nMoira McCavena \nNgozi Oparah \nEna Grozdanic \nThis activity continues from 2016 thanks to the generosity and curiosity of Carla\, Carles\, Ramon and Roser Castellet (responsible for the Bruc Municipal Library). \n
