DESCRIPTION:Next 30th of April at 13h at Can Serrat we will have the great Ferran Palau in concert followed by the always unpredictable Amor Absoluto. Good music in an idyllic setting: the best way to spend a Saturday in Spring. ¡Exquisite food is assured as well! \nFerran Palau\, also known as one of the leaders of Anímic\, is presenting his second solo album\, “Santa Ferida”. The album\, thought and recorded during two years with the help of Jordi Matas (Seward) and the mythical AKG Spring Reverb courtesy of Joan Pons (El Petit de Cal Eril)\, has been recorded up until three times to find that magic that is never absent in this prolific and exquisite artist. Although Palau doesn’t walk away from themes he always felt attractive and inspiring such as death\, religion and guilt\, we find in this new album a lighter sensation\, where a summery aesthetic and atmosphere sticks out\, of songs that you would listen with the Sun warmth and the sea breeze touching your skin.\nFerran Palau tries to make his music understandable using new and fresh melodies that carry us to mysterious lands. An album full of hits such as the sticky “La daga” or the already classic “El meu lament”\, and echoes from bands like Talk Talk or Timber Timbre and solo musicians like Cass McCombs or Damien Jurado.\nhttp://www.ferranpalau.com/ \nAmor Absoluto are Jj Fernández (drums)\, Hans Laguna (thin strings)\, Andy Poole (thick strings) and Cristian Pallejà (keys and buttons).
